This guide outlines everything a ValueMed Franchisee, Pharmacist, and Pharmacy Assistant must prepare for a successful soft and grand opening.


I. Purpose of the Soft Opening

The Soft Opening is an internal trial period (typically 7–14 days) that allows your team to:

  • Test actual workflows and identify operational gaps

  • Train staff in real-time with actual customer interactions

  • Introduce ValueMed signature programs to the local community

  • Begin light selling and establish store presence before the Grand Opening

This phase is critical to make necessary improvements prior to the big launch.


II. Announce and Prepare the Following ValueMed Programs


1. ValueMed Health Check Program

A walk-in service offered by the Pharmacist including:

  • Blood Sugar

  • Uric Acid

  • Cholesterol

  • Blood Pressure Check (Free)

  • Free Patient Counseling

Pharmacists must prepare:

  • Health Check Pads

  • Health Logbook

  • Test kits (glucometer, cholesterol meter, uric acid strips)

This is an advanced on-site diagnostic program facilitated by ValueMed HQ with licensed Medical Technologists and equipment.


Soft Opening Activities:

  • Explain follow-up protocol: 7 days return for result interpretation by a licensed physician

III. Soft Opening Essentials

Marketing and Patient Registration:
