Opening your ValueMed branch goes beyond installing shelves and stocking products. It’s about launching a fully compliant, professionally aligned, and operationally strong pharmacy that reflects the ValueMed brand standards.
This Pre-Opening Guide outlines the complete responsibilities of the Pharmacist and Store Assistant—from physical setup to coordination with ValueMed HQ—ensuring a smooth and compliant launch.
1. Coordinate with ValueMed Headquarters
Before physical setup, coordinate with the following HQ departments:
Operations and Trading Department
Align on store readiness, branding, and regulatory compliance.
Submit store photos and video walkthrough once checklist is completed.
Coordinate the target schedule for Soft Opening and Grand Opening so HQ can prepare all necessary marketing support, such as posters, streamers, promotional bundles, and opening giveaways.
Stock Analyst Team
Ensure proper allocation of initial stocks, with focus on fast-moving generic medicines and the complete VitaFix product line.
Align with the Stock Analyst Team for Auto-Replenishment setup.
Coordinate any product gaps or anticipated high-volume SKUs based on your location’s market profile.
Assigned HQ Coordinators
All documents, submissions, and checklist monitoring will be handled by your assigned HQ Coordinator.
Attend the required Weekly Tuesday Zoom Meeting for Pharmacists and Store Management updates.
2. Daily Inventory Report Submission
Prior to opening and on a daily basis thereafter, the Store Pharmacist must submit a Daily Inventory Report to the Stock Analyst Team. This must reflect the actual physical inventory of the store and be reconciled with the POS system. It ensures stock accuracy, timely replenishment, and avoids stockouts.
