What is ValueMedKonek?
ValueMedKonek is ValueMed’s official Medicine Subscription Program. It allows customers to enroll for automatic refills of their regular medicines, OTC products, and vitamins on a weekly or monthly basis, with options for home delivery or in-store pickup.
This program is ideal for:
Maintenance patients (hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol)
Senior citizens
Busy professionals
Loyal customers who require uninterrupted access to medications
Families managing long-term therapy
ValueMedKonek transforms your branch from a transactional pharmacy into a long-term healthcare partner.
How the Program Works
Customers enroll through a dedicated Google Form and submit the following:
Patient ID
Prescription (if required) or OTC/Vitamin request
Delivery address
Preferred refill frequency (Weekly or Monthly)
Viber number and email
Preferred payment method (Advance GCash, Bank Transfer, or Cash on Delivery)
Once the form is submitted, the branch takes over.
Operational Workflow
Review the submitted form daily.
Verify prescription validity (if applicable).
Confirm order details with the customer via Viber.
Encode subscriber information into the branch’s Subscription Tracker.
Coordinate with POS and Auto Replenishment to secure future stock.
Prepare refill before the scheduled date.
Confirm payment and arrange delivery or pickup.
Log completion and schedule the next refill cycle.
Responsibilities of the Pharmacist
The Pharmacist plays a leadership and compliance role in ValueMedKonek:
Verify and validate prescriptions.
Ensure proper dispensing standards are followed.
Review dosage accuracy and therapeutic appropriateness.
Conduct patient counseling during enrollment and refill.
Monitor maintenance patient adherence.
Align projected subscription quantities with the Stock Analyst Team.
Supervise the PA in managing the subscription tracker.
Ensure all refills are recorded in dispensing logs.
The Pharmacist must ensure that subscription commitments are supported by proper inventory planning and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Assistant (PA)
The PA plays a coordination and execution role:
Monitor Google Form submissions daily.
Contact customers via Viber for confirmation.
Update and maintain the Subscription Tracker.
Prepare refill orders ahead of schedule.
Coordinate delivery bookings.
Follow up on payments and confirmations.
Inform the Pharmacist of any prescription or medical concerns.
Promote ValueMedKonek at the counter and during transactions.
The PA ensures operational efficiency and timely execution.
